Mon Coco

What does Mon Coco mean ?

The rooster stands as a Republican symbol in French History. The word coco also refers to his wake up call « cocorico » or to the famously known fragrance and fashion brand « Coco Chanel ». It is also the nickname given to the boys of Paris popular neighbourhoods. Coco is also used to express affection while adressing someone. In our eyes, Mon Coco carries and combines all those meanings and it is only fair that we have picked this name for a traditional French brasserie located at the « Place de la République ».
